Hello, everyone!
This week is the last for blogging in the first session.
I have been enjoying it very much.
I hope you so.
What have you got from conversation, listening and composition classes in the 1st session?
I feel sorry for finishing our 3 main subjects in a short period of time like this.
Yes, time flies!!!
I am sure that I've learned a lot from insturctors.
Through conversation class, I learned how well to listen to and communicate others, and share ideas to make a conclusion. Sometimes very current issues and interesting topics made me keep interested in class.
Through listening class, I learned how accurate to listen to English sounds: especially liaision.
Through composition class, I learned how to write a 5 paragraph essay: how to think about one topic, how to organize the idea about the topic, how to support the main idea.
Most of them were challenging. Their lectures have upgraded me more than I came here first.
I'd like to say to all the instructors and my classmates , "Thank you very much."

Question 8
Hello, everyone
Did you have any interesting episode when you traveled to other countries?
In my case, when I went to Australia in 2003, I was embarrased by a guest house clerk.
I was backpacking at that time. One day I had to make a reservation for my accommodation on the phone. I couldn't understand Australian English fully. I asked the same quesiton three times. Then the clerk of the guest house reacted angrily, "Are you Japanese?" Purplexed, I just said, "Yes." What a shame on me! As I was not good at English communication, I was thought to be Japanese by the clerk. I cannot forget that shamful thing!

Question 7
Hello, everyone!
Which pop song do you like most?
In my case, I like Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' most. Elton John is already well-known sing-a-song wirter. His beautiful voice insipires me and resonant melody in his song is wonderful. The song contains the singer's mind to return to the nature. Sometimes the city life makes us crazy. We miss a quiet rural life.

Question 6
Hello, everyone
I think that this is a good opportunity for us to show off or advertise our city.
Because we're from different areas.
So, could you talk about your city a bit?
In my case, I'm from Suwon. As you know, Suwon is the capital city of Gyeonggi-do, located in southern part of Gyeonggi-do. It is the center of transportation because there are a subway station, a train station, interchanges of Yeongdong Expressway and Gyeongbu Expressway, etc.
It was chosen as a world heritage by UNESCO a few years ago. Above all, Galbi and Everland!!
If you visit Suwon, you should try some Galbi. It's expensive but has lovely taste.
And with your family or friends, you can play in the Everland. It's really wonderful and fantastic!

Question 5
Hello, everyone!
Do you know any beautiful places in my country that you have been to?
Could you recommend one for me so that my family can visit on the weekend?
In my case, I'd like to recommend "Tongyeong in Gyeongsangnam-do" for you.
Two years ago, my family went there including Geoje Island and Oido.
That city was quite unique and exotic to me.
Not too big city but many interesting and various cultural events !
Espicially, when we woke up in the morning, right in front of the window there was a beautiful and glowig morning sun which was about to rise.
It was really fantastic, moreover there were many boats, friendly islands which were symbols of the South Sea. We also dropped at a fresh fish market which had a lot of sea creatures.
My family were very happy with everyting in Tongyeong.

Question 4
Hi, everyone!
Do you have any special pupil you never forget?
For example, someone you liked most as a pupil, or someone who bothered you most in your teaching career?
In my case, I have one special stduent I remember. He was actually a mentally and physically handicappd student. But he has the same feelins as us like love, dislike and like, hatred, sorrow, etc Almost 15 years ago, I was a young lady teacher. He began to like me. It lasted for his middle school days, high schools days and after that. He just liked to talk to me. That's all. How innocent and pure! When we had a conversation, he smiled or laughed a lot with his little twisted mouth. Yes, I feel like I can't forget him. Now I don't know whether he is doing well or not. Maybe he is doing fine with his family. He was a pupil who liked and followed me more than any other student.
